History of the School

With a view to imparting skills to the budding citizens of Pakistan, an institution under the nomenclature of Misali Academy of Science was founded and established at Muzaffar Garh on 15 September 1991, which was given the status of Superior Science secondary school Muzaffar Garh on 1st April 1994. None can deny the truth that only the Science Education can meet the challenges of global changes of 21st century . Moreover our government has encouraged the private sector to come forward to play its role for raising the literacy rate and provision of quality education, as the public sector is unable to achieve the desired ends because of some unavoidable reasons such as lengthy courses, heavy strength, shortage of teaching staff and inadequate physical facilities. Thus the foundation stone of this institution was laid which actually proved a boon, a blessing and beneficence for those who wish to quench the thirst of learning. Students poured into it from far and wide because this institution won a landmark from the very outset. The land where this school stands on, was a barren heath and a salty wilderness but the toil of the persons related to this institution turned it into paradise. This institution is renowned for its co-curricular activities as well. Congenial learning atmosphere of this school attracts the people of the country over. This is why students from remote places of Punjab, Sindh, N.W.F.P. and Baluchistan take pride in coming over here for studies.

In a very short time, glorious results in the public examinations touched the zenith of fame. Persuaded by the persistent demand of the parents this high school was upgraded into higher secondary school where intermediate classes were started. Thanks God who enabled us to have constructed a three storied glamorous building where students can be conveniently accommodated.

From the very beginning this institution won the mark because of untiring efforts of eminent teachers, which became fruitful under the benign guidance of its principal Ch. Abdur-Rauf and technical assistance of administrator Dr. Shahid Ali. The competency of both officers made this institution one of the leading science study schools. Now the higher secondary school is second to none in Pakistan. Not only this institution maintained its glorious record but also it has soared higher and higher in achievements. The students are considered lucky to succeed in getting admission here.

The students of this institution come off with flying colours, be it the public examinations, debates, speeches, recitation from the Holy Quran or games and athletics. Even in the field of scouting the colossal participation of the students beat the previous record of 50years. It is due to the devotion of the students, sincere efforts and democratic guidance of the principal and the administrator.
